Barlow Carnival News 2011

 Hi Everyone,

The lantern parade switching on of the Christmas Tree at the Village Green will be on the evening of 12th December followed by carols around the tree. The singing will be supported by Barlow Choir.

Barlow carnival 2012 will be on 18th August. Keep watching for details.

 Barlow Carnival

Barlow Carnival is the highlight of the year, with a parade of floats and Bands. All the Village wells are dressed in flowers for the occasion.

Usually this takes place around the middle of August. The timing is ruled by the Well Dressings which open on the Second Wednesday after the first Sunday in August. The Carnival Day is the following Saturday.
