Residents are very welcome to attend Parish Council meetings and each meeting starts with a public open session at which questions can be raised on any matter concerning the parish.

What is the Annual Parish Meeting?
All parishes, whether or not they have a parish council, hold an assembly or meeting once a year to discuss the affairs of the parish council. It is an opportunity for the parish council to report on what it has been up to during the year, for District and County councillors and village organisations to make presentations, and for villagers to raise and concerns they may have. When and where is it held? The annual parish meeting for Barlow takes place in the Village Hall, Barlow. The 2019 Annual Parish meeting will take place on 7th May 2019.
